The experience

The pilot meets you 10 minutes before departure and walks through what you're about to see: the route covers 48 miles, and he points out landmarks as you pass over them. You'll lift off and head straight toward Aquatica and Epic Universe first, then swing past ICON Park and the 400-foot Orlando Eye before moving into the Universal corridor: Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay, and Universal Studios. The whole northern loop takes about half the flight.

Then comes the downtown detour. You cross over the Kia Center, Camping World Stadium, and Lake Eola Park, seeing the city grid spread out below in a way that makes the scale of Orlando actually click. After that, the return leg heads south toward Disney property: Disney Springs first, then Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach.
