The experience

You start at 9:30am at 1651 Broadway in Midtown, where your guide boards the bus with you. The route moves through Times Square and Macy's first, then heads south through Chelsea, SoHo and Chinatown before crossing into Brooklyn. At the Brooklyn Bridge you get out and walk the span with your guide. The one stop where you're on foot long enough for real photos and the view back to Manhattan. The bus picks you up on the far side and returns you to it for the rest of the day.

Mid-tour you stop at Washington Square Park for a short walk where the Empire State Building frames the background. You pass by the building itself on the bus but don't enter it. You'll need to bring food or find a café nearby, as lunch is not provided.
