The experience

The tour starts at your arrival airport (JFK, LaGuardia, Newark, or Flushing), where a guide meets you at baggage claim. If you land before 9am, you can join an optional morning tour hitting City Hall and the Brooklyn Bridge before lunch. Guests arriving by 4:30pm can catch the night tour instead, moving through Times Square, Rockefeller Center, and the Manhattan skyline from Long Island City. Either way, you're driven to your hotel that evening.

Day two departs for Philadelphia, where you spend 30 minutes at Independence National Historical Park: the 55-acre "America's most historic square mile" in the Old City district. Then it's on to Washington D.C., where the U.S. Capitol and National Archives are available as an optional in-depth tour (120 minutes, inside both buildings plus exterior views of the Supreme Court and Library of Congress), or you can do a quick 30-minute outside pass of the White House. Day three is mandatory Washington D.C. sightseeing: 60 minutes at the Lincoln Memorial and Vietnam Veterans Memorial, followed by a 90-minute in-depth tour covering the Air Force Memorial, Thomas Jefferson Memorial, and World War II Memorial by coach.

The final day is your return to New York for the mandatory New York City Fortune Tour (150 minutes by car and on foot), which covers four zones: the Canyon of Heroes, Wall Street, and the Charging Bull; the Financial District and Stock Exchange; Rockefeller Center and the Diamond District; and Times Square. Three optional paid activities are available that day: One World Trade Center Observatory (70 minutes, 102 stories up), a Statue of Liberty and Hudson River cruise (60 minutes), or RiseNY (60 minutes), before you're driven back to your airport or hotel. All transportation is in a professional disinfected coach with a driver-guide or separate driver and guide depending on group size. Hotel rooms sleep 2–4 guests with either two full beds or one king/queen bed, depending on what's available.

Guests arriving at Newark or Flushing, or those landing after 9am, go directly to the hotel.

Is the night tour available if I'm arriving at Newark Airport?

No. Only guests arriving at JFK, LaGuardia, or Flushing before 4:30pm can join the optional New York Night Tour. Newark arrivals proceed straight to the hotel.
