The experience
The tour starts with complimentary airport pickup at JFK or LaGuardia on day one, with optional morning and evening city tours if you arrive early enough. From there, you spend two days in New York exploring DUMBO, the Fortune Tour's four regions (Canyon of Heroes through Times Square), and optional visits to One World Trade Center Observatory or RiseNY. The itinerary then moves south through Philadelphia's Independence National Historical Park and a shopping stop at Christiana Mall in Delaware before reaching Washington D.C.
In D.C., the tour includes an in-depth visit to the U.S. Capitol and National Archives (optional), the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, an outside view of the White House, and the Lincoln Memorial plus Vietnam Veterans Memorial. From there you travel to Gaithersburg, then north through Harrisburg to the Corning Museum of Glass before arriving at Niagara Falls for an optional night tour. Day six takes you to Springfield, Massachusetts, with a mandatory 3-hour exploration of Boston that covers Harvard University (with official campus tour), the Old State House, and the city's historic firsts: the first subway system, first public park, first botanical garden, and first large-scale free municipal library. The final stop is Quincy Market, where an optional Boston lobster meal is available before airport dropoff.

Is this one for you?Groups stay under 12 travelers, which means you move through major sites without the crowds of larger tours while still sharing costs with others. The fixed schedule: departing after 8:30 a.m. and returning by 6:30 p.m. Fits travelers who want structure and don't want to arrange their own transport between cities, though it leaves little flexibility if you want to linger at a particular stop.
