Belle Meade Historic Site sits on 30 acres outside Nashville, and the Journey to Jubilee tour walks you through nearly a hundred years of the property's history from the perspective of the people whose labor built it. The walk takes an hour and a half and moves through the grounds and outbuildings of the estate. You'll arrive 20 minutes early to check in at the Visitor Service desk, then head out with your guide. The tour involves walking and several sets of stairs, so you'll want to wear comfortable shoes. Afterward, you have the grounds to explore on your own—there's an outdoor game court and an on-site restaurant if you want to stay longer. Free parking is available.

A complimentary wine tasting at the Belle Meade Winery wraps the experience; the winery uses the proceeds to fund historic preservation work on the property. If you're interested in seeing the main Mansion itself, that's a separate guided tour you can book independently—it's not part of this ticket.
