The Experience

The first thing I noticed was the pink yacht — not subtle, but somehow perfect against the blue of Biscayne Bay. We met our captain at the marina (there’s a fee for that, just so you know), and he greeted us like we were old friends. There was music already playing when we stepped aboard. The city skyline looked almost fake from the water — all glass and angles, way quieter than I expected except for the distant thump of someone else’s party boat drifting by.
