2-Hour Private Boat Miami: Cooler, Music, Your Group
Two hours on the water without sharing the boat or the playlist
A 2-hour private boat rental in Miami starts at the Miami River, circles the bay past high-rises and waterfront homes, and returns to the starting point. You choose the boat size (21 to 26 feet, holding 6 to 8 people), bring your own drinks in the provided cooler with ice, and play your music through the onboard Bluetooth stereo. The lead traveler signs a bareboat charter agreement and selects a captain per Coast Guard law; life jackets, safety gear and restroom access at the marina are included.
The Experience
The boat leaves the Miami River and takes you around the bay for a full 2 hours. You'll pass the high-rises that line the water and see the homes of notable residents from the boat—sights that read differently when you're moving through them at your own pace instead of watching from a shore. The cooler sits onboard with ice already in it, so you bring whatever drinks you want and they stay cold the whole ride. The Bluetooth stereo means you control what plays, which matters more than it sounds when you're on the water with people you chose to be there.
You pick which boat fits your group: 21, 22, 24 or 26 feet, holding between 6 and 8 people depending on the hull. The lead traveler signs the bareboat charter agreement and selects a captain before departure—that's a Coast Guard requirement, not a complication. Life jackets for adults, kids and infants come with the boat, along with flares and other safety gear. A restroom is available at the marina before you leave; some boats have one onboard as well. The landing and facility fees are already in the price.
This is a private charter, which means no other group boards with you. The person making the reservation must be on the boat, and service animals are welcome. Infants can ride in a pram or stroller at the marina, though they'll need to sit on an adult's lap once underway. The weather policy applies, so check conditions before your departure time.
