The experience

The boat leaves the dock and enters a maze of mangrove waterways where dolphins surface alongside you and manatees drift through the shallows. The channels narrow and open again. The water stays shallow enough that you see the bottom in places. Then the boat cuts across open water to a barrier island accessible only by boat. You step onto an untouched shoreline with time to walk the beach, dig for shells, or sit and take in the quiet.
