The experience
The flight departs and returns to the same pad, climbing over the Pacific coastline toward Malibu's Pier and Surfrider Beach before banking east across Santa Monica Pier and the Pacific Wheel. From there the route carries you over Venice Beach, then inland past the Getty Center perched above Greater Los Angeles, the Hollywood Sign, Sunset Strip, and Beverly Hills. The whole arc takes 50 minutes in the air.
You land on a private hilltop in Malibu where you'll spend 30 to 45 minutes on the ground. The landing site is public land with permission granted for the tour. A picnic table sits there, though hikers may also be present and the exact landing position can shift. Bring closed-toe shoes for the uneven terrain and layer your clothing. The coast can swing from hot to cool in a single day.
Champagne is served to passengers 21 and over. Non-alcoholic refreshments are available on request. A live English-speaking guide flies with you. The tour requires a minimum of two passengers per booking and is subject to weather cancellation. If poor conditions ground the flight, you can reschedule or receive a full refund. Federal airspace restrictions occasionally close routes without warning: Dodgers and Rams games restrict flights over downtown and the stadiums, and VIP visits can shut down entire zones for 24 to 48 hours.
