The Experience

The first thing I noticed was the buzz — not just from the casino floor outside, but inside The Escape Game Las Vegas too. We’d barely stepped into The Forum Shops when our guide, Jamie, waved us over with this huge grin like she’d been waiting for us all day. There’s something about being handed a mission folder that makes you feel part spy, part kid again. I could still smell someone’s takeout from Planet Hollywood drifting in while Jamie explained the rules (I tried not to get distracted by it — didn’t work).

We picked “Prison Break” because my cousin swore it was the hardest escape room in Las Vegas. I can’t say we were ready for how fast that clock would tick down. The walls felt cold and rough under my hand — or maybe that was just nerves? At one point, my friend tried to decode a clue upside down and we all lost it laughing.
