The experience

The cruise departs from Amoray Dive Resort, located at the top of Key Largo just an hour from Miami Airport. You board a 45-foot catamaran with a wide open deck: plenty of room to move around, sit where you want, and watch the sky change color without feeling crowded. The boat operates on the bay side of the island where the water stays calm, so you get an unobstructed view of the sunset without the chop of the open ocean.

Water is provided. You can bring your own drinks and snacks and use the large cooler filled with ice. The cruise runs nightly and lasts an hour and a half, which is long enough to watch the sun move noticeably across the sky but short enough to fit into an evening after a day of diving, snorkeling or exploring the Keys. A live guide in English is on board.
