A shared round-trip airport shuttle runs between Kahului Airport and hotels across Maui's main zones (Lahaina, Kaanapali, Kihei, Wailea, Makena, Kahana and Honokowai) with a VIP greeter holding your name at baggage claim and hotel pickup included for the return. You select your hotel's zone when you book. A minimum of two passengers per reservation is required, and each traveler gets two pieces of luggage plus one personal item at no extra charge.

The experience

A VIP greeter in an aloha shirt meets you at baggage claim with your name on a sign, helps with your bags, and walks you to the air-conditioned shuttle van. This meet-and-greet is included and free: the operator's way of saying mahalo for the booking. From there, the van takes you directly to your hotel in whichever zone you selected: Lahaina, Kaanapali, Kihei, Wailea, Makena, Kahana or Honokowai. The return trip picks you up from your hotel's designated shuttle area and drops you at your airline terminal.

The shuttle is shared, so you'll ride with other travelers heading to hotels in the same zone. Call the supplier at least three days before your departure to arrange a specific pickup time for the return transfer. Each passenger can bring two checked bags and one personal item. Infant seats are available on request for an extra charge, and children under five travel free if they sit on an adult's lap. Wheelchair-accessible vans are available. Just mention it when you book.

Your reservation is tied to your hotel's location, so make sure the zone you select matches where you're staying. If they don't match, the booking will be cancelled. Travelers five years and older are charged adult rates. Gratuities are not included in the fare.
