Indoor skydiving in Austin at iFLY puts you in a state-of-the-art vertical wind tunnel with a certified flight instructor. After a brief training session, you'll experience free-fall conditions on two separate flights and receive a personalized certificate of achievement. No skydiving experience is necessary.

The experience

iFLY Austin uses a powerful vertical wind tunnel to simulate the sensation of skydiving without ever leaving the ground. You start with a one-on-one training session where your certified instructor teaches you body positioning and breathing techniques, then guides you through two separate flights. The instructor stays with you throughout, adjusting the wind speed and helping you find the right posture so you can feel weightless in the tunnel.

The whole experience runs about 75 minutes from arrival to certificate. You'll wear a flight suit, helmet, goggles and altimeter, all provided, and the instructor handles the technical side while you focus on the sensation. Afterward, you take home a personalized flight certificate documenting your achievement. The facility welcomes first-timers and people of all fitness levels. Kids as young as three can participate.
