The experience

The Spirit of Harbour Town departs Harbour Town and enters Calibogue Sound, where you're surrounded by South Carolina islands and intracoastal waters. The boat cruises past Daufuskie Island and up Bull Creek to catch the setting sun over the marsh estuaries. The timing is built around that moment. You sit at a private table for the full 2 hours, starting with the heirloom tomato panzanella salad, then your choice of entrée (blackened mahi mahi, roasted chicken breast, roasted pork loin, or vegan pasta primavera), and finishing with either key lime pie or flourless chocolate torte. Kids' menus come with chicken tenders or chicken alfredo, salad and dessert. You order your selections in the special requirements box at checkout.

As the boat heads back toward Harbour Town after dark, the iconic lighthouse comes into view, lit and shining. The 10% gratuity for crew is included in the price. You can leave additional gratuity on board if you choose. Drinks are available for purchase at the bar. Getting on board involves 10 steps to the lower deck (inside) and another 10 steps to reach the upper deck (outside), so plan accordingly. Service animals are permitted, and specialized infant seats can be arranged.
