The experience

The tour begins at Bacchus Landing, a gathering place with seven boutique wineries clustered in downtown Healdsburg. You'll ride your own electric trike. The guide handles the route and shares the history while you control the pace. The ride passes through Dry Creek Valley, offering vineyard scenery and views of the surrounding landscape, then moves through the Healdsburg Plaza, the historic town square lined with restaurants, shops and tasting rooms.

Two stops break up the ride. At the Healdsburg Museum and Historical Society, you'll learn how the town and wine region developed. At Breathless Wines, a tasting room and garden near downtown, you can relax in indoor or outdoor seating and explore their sparkling wine selection. Throughout the tour, a certified guide leads the group and provides context about the area. The charcuterie board (featuring local cheeses, meats and seasonal items) arrives at the end, back at Bacchus Landing, where you can add wine tastings if you want them.

The electric trikes come with training before you start, so no prior experience is needed. The whole experience runs three hours. Bring a valid ID if you plan to taste wine, and note that tastings cost extra beyond the tour price.
