The experience
You're picked up from your Laughlin casino hotel and driven 120 miles across the Mojave Desert toward the Hualapai Reservation. The guide talks through the landscape as you pass Joshua Trees and learn about the region's geology and tribal history. The drive itself is part of the day, not just transit to the main event.
At Eagle Point, you stand at the rim and decide whether to walk the Skywalk, a glass bridge suspended 4,000 feet above the canyon floor (that's the $35 add-on). If you skip it, the Native American Village at Eagle Point shows traditionally built housing, ovens and sweat lodges from six different tribes. Then you head to Guano Point for a second set of panoramic views from a different angle. Lunch happens at Grand Canyon Western Ranch, where a singing cowboy performs while you eat. That's included, along with the food itself.
After lunch, the tour takes a short detour to the Arizona Joshua Tree Forest. You walk among trees that can live over 500 years. The return to Laughlin takes the same scenic route, and the whole day runs 6 to 7 hours from pickup to drop-off.

- all Grand Canyon West entrance fees and Hualapai Reservation access.
