Escape Room Games in Gatlinburg: 60-Minute Adventures
Five games, one hour each, a locked door with an exit button you control
The Escape Game in Gatlinburg is a 60-minute puzzle adventure where you and up to seven others work together to solve clues, find hidden objects and complete a mission inside one of five themed rooms. A live guide briefs you beforehand, stays available during play, and helps if you get stuck. The games aren't dark or frightening—they're designed for all ages and fitness levels, and you can leave at any time.
The Experience
Gatlinburg's Escape Game sits on the Parkway near restaurants and attractions, so you can slot it into an afternoon or evening without rearranging the rest of your day. You choose one of five games: Prison Break (escape from an evil warden), The Depths (submarine underwater mission), Special Ops: Mysterious Market (decode secrets as a spy), The Heist (pull off an art theft), or Timeliner: Train Through Time (alter the future). Each one fills a separate room and holds up to eight players.
When you arrive, the guide walks you through the setup and rules—this takes about 15 minutes. Then the clock starts. You have exactly 60 minutes to find clues scattered through the space, solve the puzzles they unlock, and complete whatever mission the game sets. Communication matters more than speed; the puzzles are built so a team of mixed ages and experience levels can work through them together. If you hit a wall, the guide can nudge you toward the next step without handing you the answer.
The room has a locked door, but an exit button lets anyone leave whenever they want—there's no pressure to stay if someone feels uncomfortable. After time runs out (or you escape early), you spend another 15 minutes debriefing with the guide and taking photos. The whole experience, from arrival to departure, runs about 90 minutes.
