The experience
Your guide arrives with everything: Sage fly rods, Simms waders, reels, flies and leaders. The eight-hour day runs from pickup through the full fishing experience and return, with a quality lunch and drinks waiting streamside. You don't need to own or rent gear separately. It's all there waiting. The guide knows the river system inside Yellowstone and brings both the technical knowledge and the permits required to fish here legally.
A fishing license is your choice at checkout. Add it if you don't already hold one for Montana. The guide will walk you through what works on the water that day, whether you've fly fished before or this is your first time casting. Transportation to and from the river is included, so you arrive ready to fish without figuring out the drive or the access points yourself.

Is this one for you?The eight-hour day means you're on the water from morning through afternoon, so plan for a full commitment to the river. This works best if you can dedicate the day to fishing rather than splitting time between other park activities.
