The experience
Captain Quick runs half-day fishing trips where you're not a passenger watching the captain work. You're fishing the whole time with hands-on guidance. The captain is USCG licensed with years of experience and walks you through technique and where the fish are. You can book a morning or afternoon departure depending on what fits your day, and families with infants are welcome (infants sit on an adult's lap). All the gear you need is on the boat: rods, reels, tackle, bait and your fishing license are included, so you show up with a cooler and whatever snacks or drinks you want to bring.
The boat carries a trolling motor and fish finder, which the captain uses to locate fish while you're actively fishing rather than idling around hoping. At the end of the trip, the captain cleans your catch for you. Life jackets are provided and required. The whole outing runs about three and a half hours, which is long enough to get into a rhythm on the water without eating up your whole day.

Is this one for you?Choose the morning departure if you want to fish early and have the rest of your day free, or pick the afternoon slot to sleep in and head out later. The half-day length means you're on the water long enough to actually fish, not just take a quick boat ride.
