The tour stops at the Self-Realization Fellowship Gardens, the historic Del Mar Racetrack, VG Donuts, Carlsbad Lagoon, Fletcher Cove Park, Moonlight State Beach, and the iconic Encinitas Boat Houses. Bikes are available for riders 5'0" and taller, with child seats for children up to 45 pounds and cargo bikes that seat two children. Each bike has adjustable pedal assist levels and throttle options, meaning you control how much effort you put in, whether you want to ride actively or let the motor carry you. Much of the route runs on streets or in dedicated bike lanes, and the guide knows the area deeply: local restaurants, galleries, surf spots, and the stories behind each stop.

The route strings together seven distinct stops across the four communities. You'll pass the Self-Realization Fellowship Gardens, founded in 1938 and perched above the Pacific; stop at the Del Mar Racetrack, built by Bing Crosby in 1936 and a North County landmark ever since; grab a fresh donut at VG Donuts, a family-run shop for three generations; and see Carlsbad Lagoon, a 979-acre wetland estuary where the Escondido and La Orilla Creeks meet the ocean. The guide can time the visit to catch the tidal shifts that transform how the lagoon looks. You'll also roll past Fletcher Cove Park (a local secret with beach access and restrooms), Moonlight State Beach (packed with families, firepits, and volleyball), and the quirky Encinitas Boat Houses: landlocked structures built from an old bathhouse that look like they belong on the water.

Bikes fit riders 5'0" and taller, and the fleet includes options for children: two Rad Power Radwagon cargo bikes with seats for up to two kids, and child seats for children up to 45 pounds. All riders must know how to ride a bike, and there's a 300-pound weight limit per bike. Public transit is nearby if you need it, and the pace suits all fitness levels. The electric assist means you're not fighting the terrain.
