The Experience
You start with the fundamentals: gun range etiquette, how to hold and aim, and the safety rules that keep everyone on the line. The instructor covers both handguns and rifles, so you get to work with different firearms and see which feels right. Once you've got the basics down, you move from the flat 50-yard range with metal targets to a progressive shooting course that ramps up the challenge. The whole thing runs about 2 hours, and the pace shifts to match whether you've never fired before or you've spent time at ranges already.
Everything you need is there: a protective shooting vest, eye and ear protection, ammunition, and modern handguns and rifles fitted with red dot optics to sharpen your accuracy. Transportation to the range is included, so you don't need to arrange your own way out. The firearms themselves are set up to give you the best chance of hitting what you're aiming at, and the red dot sights make the sight picture clearer than iron sights alone.
