Which tour you paddle depends on when you book. April through November, you paddle to Three Sisters Springs: one of Florida's most striking spring systems, turquoise and spring-fed, with time to get out and swim in water that never changes temperature. November 15 through March 31, Three Sisters becomes a protected manatee sanctuary closed to paddlers, so you stay in the surrounding warm springs of Kings Bay instead, where hundreds of manatees gather to escape the cold Gulf. On manatee-season tours, you watch them through the clear hull and practice passive observation only: no wetsuit, no getting in the water. Cold days are the best manatee days. The whole outing runs two hours, and your guide photographs the day and sends the images along.

You bring a valid driver's license, wear the Coast Guard-approved life jacket provided, and paddle with the paddles and dry bag the tour includes. The kayak is a tandem (two-seat), so you're not paddling alone. A $5 parking fee is payable at the kiosk when you arrive. Bring cash or card.
