You start with a training session to get comfortable on the Rydable—a motorized scooter shaped like an animal—before the tour begins. That means no prior riding experience required, and the guide walks you through the controls so you're ready to move. Once you're set, you ride through the historic Fourth Ward, a neighborhood dating back to the 1700s with structures from the post-Civil War period that are said to be haunted. At a beautiful landmark, you'll stop to learn about a former firefighter whose spirit still inhabits the space, and hear about the architect who designed it.
