The experience

The chain slipped off my bike about two blocks in: right as we were passing this old brick warehouse near Canalside. Not the smoothest start, but our guide, Matt, just grinned and fixed it in like ten seconds. He said something about how Buffalo’s always been about fixing things up and moving on. I liked that. The air smelled a bit like rain even though the sky was clear, and you could hear tugboats somewhere down by the water.
