You walk scenic pathways through Niagara Falls State Park and stand on Ram Island and Moon Island, positioned between the three falls (Horseshoe, Bridal Veil, and American) as they're illuminated in changing colors. After the night tour, you settle into your hotel near the falls for the evening. On day two, you have a choice: return to Boston, or add the optional Niagara Falls Classic Tour. If you choose the upgrade, you descend onto wooden platforms at Cave of the Winds to stand just feet from Bridal Veil Falls, feeling the spray and the force of the water up close. You also visit Whirlpool State Park to see the river's Class 6 rapids, and board the Maid of the Mist boat to float directly into the mist-filled basin below Horseshoe Falls: a vantage point most visitors never reach. The boat runs seasonally. Your confirmation will confirm availability. Either way, you return to Boston at the end of day two.
