The experience
The ride to the overnight campsite takes approximately two hours on horseback, moving through trails lined with Joshua Trees and opening onto views of Spirit Mountain. You'll arrive at the campsite in time for dinner, cooked by a wrangler, then settle into your tent for the night under the stars. The next morning, a hearty breakfast precedes the ride back to the ranch house.
The ranch provides all meals per the itinerary and tent accommodation at the overnight site. A live English-speaking guide leads the experience. Children ages 1 and up are welcome. Those 9 and under travel by vehicle rather than horseback, accompanied by a guardian. A minimum of two people per booking is required, and the operator asks that you dress appropriately for the desert and the ride.
