The experience

You're picked up at the marina and board a powerboat crewed for the day. The route moves through four main stops (the Indians, Willy T, Peter Island and Cooper Island), but the order and timing bend to what you want. Snorkeling happens at the Indians, where underwater tunnels cut through the reef; at Peter Island's hidden coves and vibrant reefs; and at Cooper Island's translucent waters. Between swims, the crew runs you to Willy T, a floating bar anchored offshore where you can climb aboard for cocktails and food, or stay on the boat.

The day stretches eight hours from pickup to drop-off. Snorkel equipment is on board, along with soda, bottled water and ice. Lunch and drinks at Willy T or Pirates Bight (a beachfront restaurant at Peter Island) come out of your own pocket, as does fuel: the operator bills that separately at the end based on the meter. If you need pickup at an alternate marina dock instead of the main one, fees apply and vary. Let the operator know before the day starts.
