The experience

Five hours takes you from the hills of Maldonado down to the coast, starting at Viña Edén, a family-run winery where a guide walks you through the vineyard, the winemaking process, and the terroir that shapes the local wines. The tour ends at a picnic set among native Coronilla trees overlooking the countryside. You get three Viña Edén wines (Méthode Champenoise, Chardonnay, and Tannat Reserva) paired with seasonal fruits, country-style sandwiches, tartlets, cheese bread, and mineral water, all arranged in handcrafted baskets. From there your private driver takes you to Casapueblo, the sculptural creation of Uruguayan artist Carlos Páez Vilaró.
