Scuba Diving in Fujairah: Beginner-Friendly, No Certification

A beginner scuba diving class in Fujairah where you learn the fundamentals and explore the Gulf of Oman underwater with an expert instructor, no certification required. The two-hour experience includes all SCUBA equipment, bottled water and underwater photographs. Live instruction is available in English, Arabic, Russian or Chinese. Medical fitness is required, and you must be able to swim.

The experience

You arrive and meet your instructor, who walks you through the basics of scuba diving on land before you enter the water. The training covers how to use the equipment, how to breathe underwater and how to stay safe during the dive. Because the instructors specialize in teaching beginners, they move at a pace that lets you build confidence before you go deeper. No prior certification or experience is necessary. The class is built around people trying scuba for the first time.

Once you're in the Gulf of Oman, you explore the underwater world at a depth and pace your instructor sets. You'll encounter marine life and coral formations as you practice what you learned on the surface. The whole experience runs about two hours. Your instructor stays with you throughout, making sure you're comfortable and safe. At the end, you receive underwater photographs from the dive so you have a record of what you saw.

The dive is not recommended if you have spinal injuries, cardiovascular concerns or are pregnant. You do need to be medically fit and able to swim. Bring your own towel and swimwear. The experience provides the SCUBA gear, water and photos.
