The tour spans nine to ten hours and moves through both old and new Dubai: the Gold Souk and Spice Souk in the heritage quarter, where mounds of aromatic spices and glittering jewelry fill narrow bazaars; the Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood with its traditional wind towers built from sandstone, teak and palm wood; and an abra ride. The wooden boats that ferried people across Dubai Creek before roads existed. From there the day opens onto modern Dubai: Palm Jumeirah, the largest man-made island; Sheikh Zayed Road's skyline of towers; Jumeirah Beach facing the Burj Al Arab; Dubai Marina's twisted high-rises; and the Dubai Fountain, which shoots 22,000 gallons of water 140 meters into the air with the Burj Khalifa behind it.
