The experience

Want to actually ride instead of just watch? This is the day for it. You get picked up from your hotel or villa in a luxury 4x4, then driven straight to the quad biking point in the desert. Your guide hands you the keys for 30 minutes of riding on high red dunes. You choose whether to stay in a fenced area or take the open desert. Right after, the same guide takes over and dune bashes for 30 to 35 minutes in the 4x4 across the high dunes, which is a different kind of speed and angle than what you just rode.

There's a 10-minute stop on the dunes to photograph the sunset, then you head to the desert camp where your table is already reserved. The evening splits between activities and dinner: short camel ride for pictures, henna hand painting on your hands, sheesha in a dedicated area, and the buffet itself (both vegetarian and meat options) served while belly dance, tanaoura, and fire shows run in front of you. The whole camp experience is shared, though VIP seating closer to the stage is available if you add it at checkout. After dinner, your guide drives you back to your starting point.

About two to three hours of the seven-hour total is travel time in the 4x4, so the actual riding, bashing, camp time and shows take up the rest. The quad biking is yours to control.
