The experience

The day starts with pickup from your Dubai hotel in a Land Cruiser, then heads into the desert where the driver takes the wheel first. You experience the dune bashing from the passenger seat while the professional handles the vehicle. Once at the Royal Adventure Camp, you switch roles: the quad bike is yours to operate across the sand, and the guide is there to lead the ride. Between the ATV section and dinner, you'll try camel riding and sandboarding if you want them, get henna painted on your hands and feet, and change into traditional Arabic dress for photos.

The evening centers on the camp's live entertainment and food. You watch belly dance and Tanoura dance performances while eating from an international buffet with BBQ options (vegetarian and meat), then settle in with Arabic coffee, tea, soft drinks, and a hubbly bubbly (shisha) corner. The experience wraps with a sunset photography moment and the fire show. Arabic coffee and dates greet you when you arrive. Snacks and complimentary drinks flow throughout.

An English-speaking guide is available, and the whole outing runs about 6 hours. Children must have an adult with them, and the minimum age is 12. The booking caps at 12 people per group, so you're not in a massive crowd.
