The boat holds up to five passengers, which keeps the deck uncrowded and gives everyone room to work a line. Bottled water and juice are provided throughout the morning or afternoon, depending on your departure time. A qualified captain who speaks English is with you the entire four hours, positioning the boat and offering guidance on technique and where the fish are biting.

The waters around Dubai hold consistent populations of fighting fish: king fish and queen fish are common, barracuda strike hard, and grouper, trevally and snapper round out the catch.
