The experience

A driver holds a sign with your name on it before you've even cleared baggage claim. That's the first thing that changes when you book a private transfer instead of figuring out a cab at the curb. The car is already there, the route is planned, and the price doesn't move, which matters more than it sounds when you're tired and carrying luggage through a new city.

The transfer runs from Abu Dhabi International Airport straight to your accommodation in Abu Dhabi, and the whole thing is one less thing to negotiate. You get 45 minutes of free waiting time if your flight lands late or you need to collect bags, so there's no rush to get to the car. The vehicle is air-conditioned, which you'll notice the moment you step outside in Abu Dhabi heat, and the driver knows the route well enough that you can just sit back instead of watching the meter or second-guessing the direction.

Everything is included upfront: all fees, all taxes, nothing added at the end. If you're traveling with kids, child seats and booster seats are available on request for a small additional fee. Service animals travel with you at no extra cost. You book in a few steps online: pick your date, your vehicle type, enter your hotel details and phone number, and you're done. The driver gets your flight information and meets you at arrivals, so there's no hunting for a pickup point or calling to find out where to go.
