The experience

The tour starts with pickup from Abu Dhabi and a drive into the Liwa Desert, where the day unfolds as a dune drive across the sand with photo stops and a visit to a camel farm. Your guide (multilingual and experienced) manages the pace and handles the route. By late afternoon, the group settles at the overnight camp, where the guide sets up tents and prepares the site for the night.

Dinner is a BBQ under the stars. You can try shisha if you want. The scent of Arabian coffee wakes you in the morning before a traditional breakfast. After eating, you have time to watch the sunrise from the desert before the return drive to Abu Dhabi, arriving around midday on day two. Transport by private vehicle, all meals, overnight tent accommodation, bottled water and the guide are included. Alcoholic drinks are available to purchase.
