The experience

You start early with pickup from your Antalya hotel, then drive about an hour to the activity site. Once there, the guide briefs you on what's ahead before you begin canyoning: you'll slide down waterfalls, swim in the canyon's clear pools, and navigate hidden paths through the rock. This is not a walk. You're moving through the water and climbing the terrain yourself, with the guide leading and watching for safety.

After canyoning, you walk to Köprülü Canyon to see the 2000-year-old Roman Bridge before moving to the rafting section. The Köprüçay River here runs through rapids surrounded by high cliffs and emerald water. You paddle as part of a group, following the guide's calls through the whitewater. The whole experience (canyoning and rafting combined) takes about four hours, and you return to your hotel in the afternoon.

Safety equipment covers both activities. Lunch is included partway through. The guide speaks your language and shares details about the canyon's history and geology as you move through it. Children from age one can join, though the operator notes the activity isn't suitable for pregnant travelers or anyone with cardiovascular concerns, and you'll need at least moderate fitness to handle the climbing and paddling.
