The experience

You step into a small art-filled atelier in central Marmaris, just a minute from the beach. The studio holds only six people at a time, so the instructors, Turkey's first mosaic lamp workshop masters, can give each person real attention. You're not watching a demonstration. You're making something. The process starts with choice: 55+ colors and shapes of glass beads sit in front of you, and you decide what your lamp will look like. There's no template, no "right way." The guidance comes step by step in Turkish, English or Russian, whatever you speak.

You work at your own pace while good music plays in the background. The instructors show you the traditional techniques of Turkish mosaic craftsmanship, but the design is entirely yours. If you want to order specialty coffee, organic cold drinks or snacks from the cafe menu, you do that while creating: no pressure to rush. The atelier is a multi-art space, so you'll see other workshops happening around you, but your focus stays on your lamp. Nobody expects perfection. The point is the process.

When you finish, your lamp is complete: base, cap, bulb all assembled and working. It arrives in travel-safe packaging, so you can pack it without worry.
