The experience

You walk into a small art-filled atelier near the beach and spend two hours layering scent. An expert guide introduces the 90+ premium fragrance components (everything from Eastern spices to Western florals and woody bases), and teaches you how top, middle and base notes work together. There's no formula to follow. You test combinations on unlimited scent strips, trusting your instinct as you build something that smells like you. The guide shares stories about Ottoman fragrance heritage and traditional perfumery while you work at whatever pace feels right, with chill music playing and only five other people creating in the space at the same time.

The workshop sits just a minute from the beach and five minutes from the marina, so it fits easily into a morning or afternoon. You can order specialty coffee, organic drinks and snacks from the cafe menu while you're blending. Your finished perfume has 25% essence concentration (strong enough to last up to two days on your skin) bottled in an elegant 50ml glass with a custom name label you design.
