The Experience

The session starts in Karaköy, the neighborhood where fishermen still work and the streets narrow into the kind of corners that photograph well. You pick which location suits the look you want — the hidden old streets of Karaköy itself, the crowded energy of Istiklal Street, the stone geometry of Galata Bridge, or the mosque's courtyard — and the photographer shoots portrait, memoir or artistic photos depending on what you're after. Bring different outfits and accessories; the guide will show you how to pose for each one.

Ninety minutes means you're not rushing between spots or waiting for light to change. The photographer knows which streets are empty at which hours and where the historical layers of Istanbul show up best in a frame. You get guidance on fashion styling and positioning, so even if you've never done this before, the poses feel natural rather than stiff. By the end you walk away with 30 professionally edited digital photos on your phone or email.

The guide meets you at your chosen location and speaks your language — English, French, Russian or Turkish. If you want to add a Bosphorus private yacht shoot, that's arranged separately and costs extra. Rooftop locations are also available but require separate tickets (30–60€).
