What’s the experience like?

Picked Ortaköy for our session—couldn’t resist the Bosphorus breeze and that view of the mosque with the bridge behind. Our photographer, Elif, met us right by the kumpir stalls (you’ll smell baked potatoes and hear gulls before you spot her). She had this easy way of making us laugh, so we forgot about posing and just wandered along the waterfront. The morning light was soft—perfect for photos, but also meant fewer crowds. I noticed a fisherman nodding at us as we passed; felt like we were part of the city, not just visitors.
