The experience

Hülya's studio sits in her own home in Kaş with views across the Mediterranean, not in a staged craft space. She is a working ceramic artist who creates in small batches and keeps the group small enough that the session feels unhurried. You work with raw clay using real hand-building techniques (no pottery wheel, no prior skill required), and as you shape and decorate your piece, Turkish tea, coffee, and local treats arrive. The guide speaks English, German, and Turkish, so language is not a barrier.

What sets this apart is what happens after you leave. Your finished piece gets glazed and kiln-fired in Hülya's kiln, so you don't walk out with raw clay. You return to collect a completed ceramic made by your own hands. That firing step means the work is durable and ready to use or display, not a fragile prototype that needs a studio to finish it.
