The experience
Eight hours takes you through four distinct stops, each one a different face of the region. Perge opens with Roman streets, a grand theater, stadium, baths and marble columns: the guide walks you through what each structure meant and how people moved through them over two millennia ago. Aspendos Theatre comes next, and the difference hits you the moment you see it: the arches are intact, the seating rises in perfect rows, and the acoustics are so precise that concerts still happen here. The scale of the engineering, preserved this well, makes the claim about its fame concrete.
Side shifts the day toward the coast. The ancient harbor is still there, and the Temple of Apollo stands on the waterfront facing the Mediterranean. You get free time to photograph it and wander the historic streets without the guide narrating every corner. Then Manavgat Waterfall offers a change of pace: water, greenery, air that moves differently than it does in the ruins. It is the refresh the itinerary promises, not a rushed photo stop.
The group stays under seventeen people, which means the guide can actually hear questions and the van does not feel packed. Lunch is included, and the air-conditioned vehicle matters on a day this long in the heat. Hotel pickup and drop-off are built in, so the only logistics you handle is being ready when the driver arrives.

Top questions
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Youth (7 to 9 years); Child (4 to 6 years); Infant (under 4): free.
What exactly is Aspendos Theatre and why is it still used for concerts?
Aspendos Theatre is a Roman theater built in the 2nd century and preserved so completely that its arches, seating and stage structure remain intact. The acoustics are exceptional: sound carries through the space so clearly that orchestras and performers still use it for live performances today, making it one of the few ancient theaters in active use.
Can I spend time at Side on my own, or does the guide stay with the group the whole time?
You get free time to explore Side's historic streets and photograph the Temple of Apollo and harbor on your own. The guide brings you there and gives you space to wander at your own pace before the group reconvenes.
How much of the eight hours is actual travel time between the four sites?
The tour duration of eight to nine hours includes travel time between attractions. The stops themselves (Perge, Aspendos, Side and Manavgat Waterfall) are spread across the region, so you spend roughly half the day moving between them and half exploring each site.
What is Perge like compared to the other ancient cities on this tour?
Perge is one of Turkey's best-preserved archaeological sites and focuses on the city itself: Roman streets, a grand theater, stadium, baths and marble columns. Unlike Side, which sits on the coast and emphasizes the harbor and Temple of Apollo, Perge is inland and lets you walk through the layout of an entire Roman city with your guide explaining how people lived and moved through it.
