The experience

The day starts with a 90-minute pickup from your hotel in Side, then heads to Alanya Harbor where the instructors brief you on the dive ahead. You'll descend to depths between 5 and 12 meters, spending 45 minutes underwater on each of your two dives. An instructor stays with you the whole time, pointing out the colorful fish and marine life and making sure you're safe. If you're not diving, you can stay on the boat and watch the coast from the water.

Between dives and after you surface, you'll have time to rest on the boat, eat lunch, and dry off in the sun. A photographer is there capturing moments you can buy later. The whole experience (from the drive to Alanya, through both dives, the meal, and the ride back to your hotel) takes about eight hours.
