- Visit Rose Valley and see fairy chimneys
- Discover Ortahisor valley with a guide
- Return to Rose Valley for landscaping views
The experience
The tour runs 90 minutes and covers two valleys on camel back. You start at the Red Valley's high point, where you see the landscape spread below before descending into the paths that wind through fairy chimneys. The cone-shaped rock formations Cappadocia is known for. Rose Valley comes next, the most photographed stretch, where the red and pink stone catches the light and the valley floor opens up around you. A professional guide leads the ride and speaks English throughout.
Ortahisor, the third stop, sits hidden enough that most travelers miss it without someone who knows where to go. The guide takes you into valleys around it that are hard to discover on your own. The camel is a working animal built for this terrain: calm, resistant to heat and cold, and steady on uneven ground. You choose when to ride: sunrise, sunset, or any hour during the day. Pickup from your accommodation and all gear are included in the price.
