The experience

You get picked up from your hotel and driven to Chalong pier, where the catamaran departs at 10am. The boat heads to Maiton island first. This is where dolphins sometimes appear, and where you'll get in the water with snorkeling gear to explore. By noon you're at Coral island, where the reef sits close enough to the beach that you can swim straight out and spend real time underwater. Lunch happens on board while you're anchored there, and the afternoon opens up: you can snorkel again, relax on the deck, or just watch the water.

At 3:30pm the catamaran turns toward Promthep Cape for the sunset run back. You arrive at the pier around 7pm and get driven back to your hotel by 8pm. The whole day is yours to shape. The guide speaks English and the boat can adjust stops or timing if something catches your interest. Snorkeling equipment, bottled water and insurance are included. The guide stays with the group the whole time.
