The 1-hour, 1.5-hour, or 2-hour ATV tour takes you through rubber tree jungle and natural trails on the island's interior — terrain that looks nothing like the beach resorts you flew in to see. Your guide leads you on and off-road, over hills, past plantations that have been here longer than the hotels, and if you booked one of the longer options, you'll switch to a car at the midpoint to reach the Big Buddha Temple, where the viewpoint overlooks Phuket Bay and the whole southern coast spreads out below you.

The day starts with a pickup from your hotel — they collect from Kata, Karon, Patong, Naiharn, Rawai, and Chalong between 8:30 AM, noon, or 2:30 PM, depending on which slot suits you. You'll head to the Phuket Paradise Trip office, register, get fitted with a helmet and rain gear, then ride a truck up to the starting point on the mountain. The safety briefing happens there with your guide, who walks you through how to handle the bike, what the trails are like, and what the rules are. Then you're on the ATV, following the guide's pace through the rainforest. It's not a race — families ride this route all the time, and kids can go as passengers if they're too young to ride solo. If you want more adrenaline after the ATV portion, you can add a zipline adventure to the same day, though that's booked separately.

The ride back to the office takes you down the same natural tracks, and once you're done, you get a drink, a chance to clean up, and a transfer back to your hotel.
