The experience

Your guide arrives with a bottle of beer to start the tour immediately, then drives you by songthaew to Pattaya Viewpoint on Pratumnak Hill. From there you get a panoramic view of Pattaya's crescent bay at night: the classic shot of the city lit up. The viewpoint fills with tour groups during the day, but the stops are short, so you get quiet time to take pictures before moving on.

Next is Drinking Street, where you'll find a string of bars and lady bars. You choose where to stop and what to drink (drinks run around 100 Thai Baht each, not included). Between stops, your guide takes you to a restaurant for Thai, seafood or Indian food. The route then swings through a go-go club and a disco, giving you a look at different sides of Pattaya's nightlife without committing to hours in any one place.

The tour ends at Walking Street, Pattaya's main nightlife strip, where you can keep going or head back to your hotel. If you need a ride back, your guide can arrange a transfer for an additional cost: the tour itself doesn't include a drop-off. The songthaew is shared with other travelers, and your guide speaks English throughout.
