- Ride ATV through jungle trails
The Experience
The day begins with pickup from your Krabi hotel or Ao Nang area accommodation. Your first stop is Namtok Ron, the Hot Spring Waterfall, where warm mineral-rich water flows through smooth rock pools surrounded by jungle. You wade in and soak—the heat and minerals are the point, not a quick dip. From there, a rainforest walk leads to Sa Morakot, the Emerald Pool, where the water is so clear and the color so vivid that the name makes sense the moment you see it. You swim here, surrounded by tall jungle trees and the sound of birds.
After the water stops, you eat Thai lunch inside Krabi National Park—real food, not a snack, served while you sit in the forest. Then you head to Saithai Mountain to suit up for the ATV ride. Safety gear goes on like a racer's, and your instructor walks you through the basics: no experience needed, and the briefing covers what you need to know before you roar out onto the muddy trails. The ride itself is the core of the day—you navigate bumps, winding forest paths, and mud under your own control, with the instructor riding alongside. The trails stay marked; you stay on them.
The tour runs six to seven hours total. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included, along with drinking water, fruit, accident insurance, and all safety equipment. Lunch and the ATV ride with fuel are part of the price. Entry fees to Emerald Pool and Hot Spring Waterfall are paid separately at each site (฿600 per adult, ฿300 per child). If your hotel is in Klong Muang or Tub Kaek, there is an additional transfer fee of ฿100 or ฿200 per person, round-trip.

Can children ride the ATV, or do they have to sit with an adult?
Children aged 4 to 11 ride as passengers on the ATV with an adult; solo riders must be at least 12 years old. Infants sit on an adult's lap during transfers. The operator confirms each child's participation based on their size and comfort level.
What is the Emerald Pool actually like when you get there?
Emerald Pool (Sa Morakot) is a natural jungle pool reached by a short rainforest walk. The water is clear and genuinely emerald-colored, surrounded by tall trees and birdsong. You swim in it; it is not a viewing stop.
Is the ATV ride difficult if I've never ridden before?
No experience is required. Your English-speaking instructor provides a safety briefing and riding instruction before you start, then rides alongside you on the muddy jungle trails. The tour is suitable for all fitness levels, though it involves moderate walking and physical exertion.
What happens if the weather turns bad?
The tour is subject to weather conditions. If adverse weather makes it unsafe, the operator will modify the itinerary or cancel and offer you an alternative date, a different tour, or a full refund.
Does the price include lunch?
Yes, an authentic Thai lunch is served in Krabi National Park and is included in the tour price. Drinking water and fruit are also provided. Entry fees to Emerald Pool and Hot Spring Waterfall are paid separately at the sites.
How long is the ATV riding part of the day?
The entire tour runs six to seven hours, which includes the two swimming stops, lunch, the safety briefing, and the ATV ride itself. The ATV portion is the final section of the day, after you've swum and eaten.
