The experience
How do you know if you want the longer course or the shorter one? The Gold Fun Package runs 21 ziplines across 5,000 meters with the longest rides stretching 200, 400, and 600 meters, plus three vertical descents of 20, 30, and 40 meters. The Silver Fun Package covers 14 ziplines over 2,000 meters and swaps the vertical drops for abseiling descents. Both include suspension bridges, spiral staircases, and sky corridors above the jungle canopy. Both pass the hidden waterfall on the way through.
You start at your hotel with pickup from Choengmon, Bangrak, Chaweng, Bophut, Maenam, Lamai, or Lipa Noi. Once at the park, you get a welcome drink, register, and sit through a safety briefing with certified guides. They fit you with professional Petzl equipment (the same gear used on commercial courses worldwide), then walk you to the first platform. From there, you move platform to platform, clipped in the whole time, gliding above the forest floor and out over the canopy.
The activity runs about two hours from start to finish. Drinking water, coffee, tea, fresh fruit, and snacks are provided throughout. Standard insurance is included. Closed-toe shoes are required, and the course is open to ages 6 to 60 with a weight limit of 100 kilograms. The operator will reschedule or refund if weather forces a cancellation.
Is this one for you?Pick the Gold Fun Package if you want the longest rides and the adrenaline of vertical descents. Pick the Silver Fun Package if you prefer a shorter course with abseiling descents instead. Both run about two hours and suit all fitness levels, though the course is not recommended for people with spinal injuries, hypertension, asthma, or recent surgery.
