You board a small speedboat with a maximum of 12 adults and get snorkeling at Koh Wao with guides in the water, a homemade lunch on a beach, guided kayaking through island channels, and a walk to the Emerald Lagoon viewing platform overlooking the archipelago. Hotel pickup and all equipment, meals and fees are included, with return around 5:30pm.
The speedboat engine cuts through the Gulf as you leave Maenam Beach behind, heading north past Koh Samui's coast toward Ang Thong National Marine Park. There are only twelve of you on board—that's the cap, and it changes everything. No jostling for snorkel spots, no waiting for the guide to notice you, no feeling like one of forty faces on a cattle-boat. The crew outnumbers the guests, which means someone is always watching, always ready, whether you're a confident swimmer or someone who's never put on fins before.
At Koh Wao the guides brief you in the water itself, showing you where the reef starts and what to look for. Lifejackets hang nearby if you want one, and the guides double as in-water taxi service—if you get tired, they'll tow you back. The snorkel gear fits properly because there's time to adjust it. After that, the boat cruises the limestone formations, those strange sculptured cliffs that look like they've been carved by something other than water and time. Then comes lunch on a quiet beach, prepared that morning by the boat's chef, and afterward you either rest under the palms or join the kayak run through narrow channels and under rock overhangs, guided the whole way. It's paced so you can choose: go hard or go slow.
The Emerald Lagoon sits at the end of a ten-minute walk up from the beach, surrounded by sheer cliffs and jungle. Your guide comes with you, carrying water and knowing which rocks to step on and where the birds nest. They know the angles for photos too. The view from the platform is the reason people come to Ang Thong—that salt lagoon ringed by limestone, the archipelago spreading out below. Then the boat heads back, and you're dropped at your hotel around 5:30pm with everything already paid for: snorkel gear, kayak, lunch, water, fruit, towels, insurance, the ride home. No surprises at the end, no "that'll be extra."
Hotel pickup and return transport, snorkel equipment and fins, lifejackets, kayaking with guides, homemade lunch prepared on-site, bottled water and seasonal fruit, towels, restroom on board, full insurance coverage, and all park fees and taxes.
